Many edible burdock and sesame are eaten in Japan.
Ingredients (4-6 portions)
200 g or 7 oz. Pork rib
100 g or 3.5 oz. Edible burdock
100 g or 3.5 oz. Kidney beans pods
400 g or 14 oz. Total, 360 g or 13 oz. Yield
Sauce
38 g or 1.3 oz. Sesame seeds
26 g or 1 oz. Sugar
30 g or 1 oz. Vinegar
15 g or 1/2 oz. Salad oil
36 g or 1.3 oz. Soy sauce (liquid) See Soy sauce direction
145 g or 5 oz. Total, 145 g or 5 oz. Yield
Directions
1. Slice thin the pork rib. Boil pork rib in 70C(158F) temperature water about 20 seconds.
Meat takes it out in outside with the white color. Is put in a basket and it's cooled just as it is.
2. Cut edible burdock into 1 inch(3cm) lengths. Boil the edible burdock in lightly salted water till they soften.

3. Boil the kidney beans pods in lightly salted water 3 or 4 minutes, Beans is put in a basket and it's cooled just as it is.
4. Toast the sesame seed in a dry frying pan until a few begin to pop.
5. Grind a portion of the toast the sesame seeds in a mortar.
6. Add sugar, vinegar, salad oil and soy sauce, mixing.
7. Add pork, edible burdock and kidney beans pods, mixing.
